We also have a self-pay program for people who are uninsured, underinsured, as well as for those who want to pay for services out-of-pocket.
PursueCare offers self-pay to patients at 75$ per session.
This does not include coverage for labs or Medication.
If you have a Medicaid or Medicaid Advantage plan you should not receive a bill for services. If you do, please contact the billing office at 866-774-7586.
Patients with a Commercial plan should expect copay and/or coinsurance as well as any additional payment requirement which would include if your deductible has been met.

Why is my balance so high?
There are several reasons for high balance which we will research for you if you call 866-774-7586 or you can send an email to billingoffice@pursuecare.com.
Why do I have a balance when I never had one previously?
PursueCare has switched EMR and we ask you be patient with us while we work out any insurance related issues. Please bring these to our attention so we can prioritize and get the issue resolved.
Can you verify my insurance to see if that is an insurance that you take?
YES! Our intake staff at the time of setting an appointment will verify your insurance and provide answers to any questions you may have such as deductibles/copay/coinsurance. If you would like to verify that you will be covered prior to your apt. Please feel free to contact the billing office.
Can I pay my balance?
Yes! You have the option to pay your balance via the Athena portal https://28331-1.portal.athenahealth.com OR by calling the billing office.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have certain types of health care coverage or who are not using certain types of health care coverage an estimate of their bill for health care items and services before those items or services are provided.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any health services provided by PursueCare upon request or when scheduling such services. This includes any related costs as may be applicable.
- It is your right as a prospective patient to request a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule or agree to any service with PursueCare. In response to any additional requests for a Good Faith Estimate in writing, PursueCare shall provide an estimate within three (3) business days after the request has been made.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more for any than your Good Faith Estimate from that PursueCare, you may dispute the bill.
- Please be sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate and the bill you received.
